Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of the LeadBarter platform. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Last updated · 17 May 2026
Heads up: the version below is a working draft written for early bankers using the platform. Final terms will be reviewed by counsel ahead of public launch.
1. Who can use LeadBarter
LeadBarter is an invite-and-verify marketplace for current employees of regulated Indian banks, NBFCs, and SFBs. You must be 18 or older, employed by a covered institution, and authorised by your employer’s policies to share business-development referrals.
2. Your responsibilities as a poster
- Only post leads you have explicit consent to share — written or recorded.
- Never include sensitive personal data beyond what’s necessary (name, phone, email, city, segment).
- Tag the lead truthfully — quality tier, deal value, and segment must reflect what you know.
- Withdraw a lead promptly if it’s no longer available.
3. Your responsibilities as a claimer
- Treat customer info as confidential — same rules as any lead inside your bank’s CRM.
- Make first contact within the timer shown on the lead.
- Mark the lead converted only when the deal actually closes.
4. Credits
Credits are an in-platform unit of barter. They have no cash value outside LeadBarter and are not redeemable for currency, gift cards, or any other instrument. Purchases via Razorpay convert rupees to credits at the rate disclosed at checkout. Promotional credits (signup bonus, referrals, conversion bonuses) may expire if the account becomes inactive for 12 months.
5. Prohibited use
You agree not to: scrape the marketplace, post fake or duplicate leads, harass other members, attempt to identify members off-platform without consent, or use the service in violation of your employer’s code of conduct or applicable law (including the DPDP Act, 2023).
6. Account termination
We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, repeatedly post invalid leads, or harm the trust of the network. You can close your account at any time from the settings page.
7. Disclaimers
LeadBarter is a referral exchange. We do not originate loans, accept deposits, or act as a broker for any bank. We do not guarantee deal closure, lead conversion, or the accuracy of information posted by other members.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
